את השיעור הרב שליט"א החל בפרשת 'אחרי־מות' ובענייני יום הכיפורים. כיצד יכול להיות שאת סוכות עושים בתשרי בעוד שהניסים של הסוכות היו בניסן? והסביר שאי אפשר להכנס לסוכה שזה ענני הכבוד, אלא על ידי יום כיפור, וכאן חזר לדבר על פרשת השבוע – פרשת 'אחרי־מות' על סוד "וכל אדם לא יהיה באוהל מועד". וכן עסק מחלוקת בין הצדוקים לפרושים על פסוק זה האם צריך להקטיר בפנים לקודש קודשים או בחוץ.
