הערב ליל זאת חנוכה בעת הדלקת הנרות חנוכה נחתמים כל בית ישראל לחיים טובים ולשלום. לפניכם תפילה חדשה שכתב מורינו הרב אליעזר ברלנד שליט"א לזאת חנוכה:
הַחוֹתָם הַחֲמִישִׁי
הַיּוֹם בְּעֵת הַדְלָקַת 8 נֵרוֹת חֲנוּכָּה, סוֹד הַחוֹתָם הַחֲמִישִׁי 'חוֹתָם בְּתוֹךְ חוֹתָם', שֶׁהָיָה פַּךְ הַשֶּׁמֶן חָתוּם 'חוֹתָם בְּתוֹךְ חוֹתָם' [תּוֹסְפוֹת שַׁבָּת כ"א], שֶׁהִיא סוֹד הַחוֹתָם הַחֲמִישִׁי, כִּי הַחוֹתָם הָרִאשׁוֹן בְּעֶרֶב רֹאשׁ הַשָׁנָה בַּסְּלִיחוֹת. הַחוֹתָם הַשֵּׁנִי בְּרֹאשׁ הַשָׁנָה בְּלֵיל רִאשׁוֹן, שֶׁאָז נֶחְתָּמִים צַדִּיקִים אֲמִתִּיִּים לְאַלְתֶּר לְחַיִּים טוֹבִים וְשָׁלוֹם, הֵם נְשׁוֹתֵיהֶן בְּנֵיהֶן וּבְנֵי בְּנֵיהֶם עַד סוֹף כָּל הַדּוֹרוֹת. הַחוֹתָם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי נַעֲשֶׂה בְּיוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים בִּנְעִילָה, וְזֹאת חֲנוּכָּה סוֹד יוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים. וְהוֹשַׁעְנָא רַבָּא סוֹד הַחוֹתָם הָרְבִיעִי, שֶׁאָז כּוּלָּם נֶחְתָּמִים לְאַלְתֶּר לְחַיִּים טוֹבִים וּלְשָׁלוֹם. וְהַחוֹתָם הַחֲמִישִׁי נַעֲשֶׂה בְּלֵיל זֹאת חֲנוּכָּה בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁמַּדְלִיקִין אֶת שְׁמוֹנַת הַנֵּרוֹת, וְאָז נֶחְתָּמִין אֲפִילוּ רְשָׁעִים גְּמוּרִים שֶׁעוֹשִׂין תְּשׁוּבָה, הֵם נְשׁוֹתֵיהֶן וְזֶרַע זַרְעָם עַד עוֹלָם, בִּזְכוּת 'הַשֵּׂכֶל הַנֶּעֱלָם מִכָּל רַעְיוֹן רְחוֹבוֹת הַנָּהָר נַחֲלֵי אֱמוּנָה', כֻּלָּם וְכָל הַדּוֹרוֹת נֶחְתָּמִין לְאַלְתֶּר לְחַיִּים טוֹבִים וּלְשָׁלוֹם, לִשְׁנוֹת יְשׁוּעָה וְרַחֲמִים, נִסִּים וְנִפְלָאוֹת גְּלוּיִים, כְּמוֹ בִּזְמַן מַתִּתְיָהוּ כֹּהֵן גָּדוֹל וּבָנָיו שֶׁכֻּלָּם נֶחְתְּמוּ לְחַיִּים טוֹבוֹת וּלְדוֹרוֹת עוֹלָם, וְזֶרַע מַתִּתְיָהוּ וִיהוּדָה הַמַּכַּבִּי וּשְׁאָר אַרְבַּעַת אֶחָיו, וּלְעוֹלָם לֹא הָלְכוּ בַּגָּלוּת, אֶלָּא תָּמִיד זָכוּ לְשֶׁפַע חַיִּים טוֹבִים וּלְבָנִים וּבְנֵי בָנִים נְכָדִים וְנִינִים עַד סוֹף כָּל הַדּוֹרוֹת, וְכֻלָּם הוֹלְכִים בְּדֶרֶךְ ה', בַּמְסִלָּה הָעוֹלָה בֵּית־אֵל, וְזוֹכִין לְעֵינָא חַד דְּרַחֲמִים, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב "כִּי עַיִן בְּעַיִן יִרְאוּ בְּשׁוּב ה' צִיּוֹן", עֵינָא דְּעַתִּיקָא, עֵינָא חַד דְּרַחֲמֵי.

The fifth seal:
Today, during the kindling of the 8 Hanukkah candles, the secret of the fifth seal, known as the 'seal within a seal,' is revealed. It is the seal of the consecrated oil, sealed 'within a seal' [Shabbat 21b], which is the secret of the fifth seal. The first seal is on the eve of Rosh Hashanah during the forgiveness prayers. The second seal is on the first night of Rosh Hashanah, when righteous and true individuals are sealed for a good and peaceful life, along with their wives, children, and descendants for all generations.
The third seal is made on Yom Kippur during the locking ceremony, representing the secret of the Yom Kippur Hanukkah. The fourth seal is the great secret of salvation, as everyone is sealed for a good and peaceful life. The fifth seal is made on this Hanukkah night when the eight candles are lit. Even complete repentant evildoers are sealed, along with their wives and the seed of their descendants forever, through the hidden understanding of "the hidden reason beyond all reasonings of the river's broad pathways."
All are sealed for good and peaceful lives, for salvation and mercy, evident miracles, as in the time of Mattityahu the High Priest and his sons, who were all sealed for good lives and for generations. The descendants of Mattityahu, Yehuda the Maccabee, and his four brothers never went into exile but always enjoyed abundant good and sons and grandsons until the end of all generations. All follow the path of the Lord on the ascending road to Bethel and merit the eye of mercy, as it is written, "For they shall see eye to eye when the Lord returns to Zion," the ancient eye, the eye of mercies.
